This explains what Highlight Reel collects and how we use it. In short: we collect only what's needed to run your event's photo sharing, and we don't sell it or show ads.

What we collect

Organizers: name, email address, group name and details, logo, and the events you create.
Guests and participants: the name you enter, your email address if you choose to give it, and the photos you upload.
Photos: we remove location data (GPS) and other hidden camera details from every photo when it's processed.
Technical: basic server logs and two small cookies: one keeps organizers signed in, the other lets us count how many photos each guest has shared.
Highlight Reel votes: a random id stored in your browser and a scrambled (one-way coded) version of your internet address, used only to stop repeat voting. We don't link votes to names or emails.

How we use it

To run the service: store and show photos, send sign-in links, and email organizers about their events.
A guest's email is used only to handle a photo removal request.
We don't sell personal information, use advertising trackers, or use facial recognition.

Who can see what

Galleries are visible to people with the event link or code, and only after the organizer approves each photo. Galleries are kept out of search engines.
Events the organizer marks Public are listed on the group's public page, along with its Hall of Champions.
TrophyCentral staff may view photos and events to keep the service safe and to act on reports or removals.
We use trusted providers to run the service (hosting, photo storage and email). They handle data only on our behalf.
We may share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Photos are deleted when an event's gallery period ends, except highlights the organizer keeps in a public Hall of Champions or sends to TrophyCentral's Highlight Reel. Removed photos are deleted. Organizers can ask us to delete their account and group at any time.

Children

Accounts are for adults. Photos of children are shared by parents, guardians and organizers, and organizers approve every photo. A parent can ask for any photo of their child to be removed from the gallery, and it is hidden right away.
